TOP HEALTHY CHEF COOKING CAMP – Sick of the standard hot dogs, and chicken nuggets? Have you kids learn how to steam their own veggies, create wholesome pasta, and snack in a way that will make your doctor happy. Kids are encouraged to try new foods and will hopefully leave with healthier habits. On Friday have a tasting of all your healthy eats for family and friends. CAMP CARNIVAL – Our goal: To put on a carnival for friends and family at the end of the week. Each day create and play your own carnival games, attractions, and shows. Practice and perfect them until you are ready to open the gates on Friday. Each carnival will be completely original based on ideas and skills of the campers involved. SCIENCE MAGIC CAMP – A lot of magic is science. And a lot of science is purely magical. Learn scientific tricks that will have your friends not believing their eyes. Use house hold items to make secret messages, black light paint, and glow sticks, pierce a balloon without popping it, stand on an egg without breaking it, and more. Then wow your parents at the end of the week in a science magic show. BEAUTY SPA CAMP – Don’t spend a day at the spa; spend a week! In this camp learn the tips and tricks of beauty, relax, and become prettier each day. Come and get your nails done and your hair fixed! Theme Camps
STAR WARS THEME CAMP It’s Jedi Training Time at Camp! Learn to use the force and how to operate a Lightsaber. Campers will build a Jedi Costume, be issued a practice saber, and taught the positive aspects of being a Jedi. Basic stage combat will be taught for safe saber sparing. Yoga will help us get in tune with the force. Crafts will build our Jedi arsenal. And Jedi games and competitions will be held to help strengthen our commitment to the force. HARRY POTTER THEME CAMP or WIZARDS AND WIZARDRY A camp filled with magic, potions, magical recipes, puzzles, crafts and presentations. Think you have the magic touch and you want to be a Wizard? Cooking Camps
TOP JUNIOR CHEF COOKING CAMP Our goal: to open a restaurant in one week. Campers will learn food handling skills and hygiene and then learn how to make several delicious and fun dishes. Our restaurant is open at the end of the week for family and friends! (2 guests per student enrolled allowed at the final days meal) TOP DESSERT CHEF COOKING CAMP Make different dessert, sweets, and other foods your parents don’t want you to have too much of. A few healthier items may be offered, but not many. It's time for sugar and spice. .On Friday, have a tasting of all your goodies for family and friends. Science and Building Camps
FORT BUILDING - You've done it since you were two surrounding yourself with piles of stuffed animals and couch cushions. Now build your forts with tons of friends and have the fun of building, and competing. Each day new forts will be made out of different whacky materials: Some small forts, and some large. From card castles to bamboo huts. Teams will compete for best design, best fortified, longest standing and more. Castle vs. castle, fort vs. fort, fun vs. more fun. )OOEY GOOEY CAMP The messy side of science comes alive as we explore slime making, crystal growing, Alka-Seltzer rockets and more in this downright dirty dig through the gooeyness of life. (This camp is much like Rockets Illusions, and Mentos but focuses more on messy projects. You’ve been warned: it is messy.) ROCKETS, ILLUSIONS, AND MENTOS A science camp with something for everyone. The day could include creating optical illusions, flying solar wind bags, launching Alka-Seltzer rockets, or exploding Diet Coke. Your kids will be fascinate, engaged, and entertained as they learn about science principals. (All activities subject to change SCIENCE MAGIC CAMP – A lot of magic is science. CSI - WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A DETECTIVE Learn about the elements of crime solving, with hands on activities that require teamwork and deductive reasoning. Write in secret codes and decipher messages sent by others. All the skills you learn will be called upon to solve a crime at the end of the week. FLIGHT or AWESOME AVIATION Take to the sky and soar! Design and build hot air balloons, planes, rockets, kites and more. Learn the principles of flight and see where your imagination can take you.
Digital Media Camps
Photography A introduction to photography using digital cameras. We will learn about shading, lighting, composition, balance and focus. We will also use our skills in photo scavenger hunts to keep our learning fun and exciting. We will create a variety of picture frames and present an art exhibit at the end of the week. We’ll supply the cameras. Just bring an SD card to get your photos instantly, or we’ll send you a CD of your photos at the end of summer. FX FILM CAMP featuring green screns Learn the beginning of green screen filming, special effects for film, story boarding, rehearsing, directing and filming and put it all together to create an action packed movie to screen for your friends and family! Some campers will find a love for the behind the scenes storytelling, while others will be called by the camera.
Performance Camps
MAGIC CAMP Popular magic tricks will be broken down to their basic forms. We focus on the presentation and performance of magic turning a magic trick into a magic show. You will have a full kit of magic to take home with you at the end of the week. You’ll be able to perform your new skills before family and friends on the last day of camp. THE IT-FACTOR: SINGING CAMP- Campers work together to personalize some of today and yesterdays hottest songs! The end of the week brings parents and friends together to watch the magic happen! MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP Audition, rehearse, and put up an entire show for an audience! We have a variety of music for kids to get inspired by and sing their way to stardom.
